Social Media Analyst

We Are Social is on the lookout for a Social Media Analyst to join our Canada team. You’ll become a critical member of our Research & Insights offering; a crucial part of the agency’s success, with all our work backed by unparalleled social insights via our global R&I capabilities.

 

What does the role involve?

  • Building, managing, executing, and delivering analytics reports, including any automated opportunities.
  • Pulling and analysing data from key social platforms, and offering creative insights based on the findings
  • Drafting targets and key performance indicators
  • Doing social listening and desk research to understand client businesses, competitors and audiences
  • Analysing and auditing campaign performance
  • Working collaboratively with relevant departmental client lead(s)
  • Supporting new business
  • Client and agency partner liaison

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • A confident, passionate and enthusiastic analyst with 2-4 years experience in an advertising, media or creative agency, or directly transferable experience.
  • Direct experience collecting, analysing and capturing insights from social media data.
  • Comfort with social media tools that support social listening (e.g. Brandwatch), performance analysis (e.g. Socialbakers) and  native platform analytics.
  • Articulate and able to present confidently in written and verbal presentation.
  • A curiosity for the brightest and best in social.
  • Someone obsessed with the internet and how online culture shapes the world around us. 
  • Natural curiosity and understanding of consumer behaviours and mindset in social.
