We are looking for our next Brand (Account) Supervisor:

The brand management team is made up of entrepreneurial, innovative & fearless leaders who drive the growth, relationship & success of our brands. We are the “tip of the spear.” We are business industry experts, client relationship masters, and creative/performance champions.

The brand supervisor is a self-assured, collaborative, creative-oriented, problem-solver, who helps our work grow by managing and sustaining current client relationships. They are responsible for client presentations, and gaining internal and external creative concept approval. The supervisor manages primarily big budget integrated campaigns (TV, print, digital and drives the collective vision, expectations and management of all advertising efforts.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility include (but are not limited to):

Leadership

  • Be a main point of client & partner contact.
  • Be a proactive problem-solver who naturally over-communicates.
  • Manage daily communication to drive internal and external teams.
  • Fiercely cares about our clients, the work, and everything in between.

 

Be The Go-To Person on all things

  • Know your brands better than anyone else. All Mekanistas should feel secure coming to you with any questions.
  • Demonstrate an ability to anticipate needs and prioritize projects/actions on a real-time basis, managing up accordingly.
  • Bolster partnership, good energy, and positive interaction between departments.
  • Stay current on all timelines, client briefings, launch dates & meeting times.
  • Keep the team current on the category & competitor brands.
  • Master integrated content production inside and out. Help the team become a well-oiled machine, with our Producer’s help, of course.

Build and Grow Relationships

  • Establish trust and credibility with your client counterpart.
  • Develop strong collaborative, working relationships with the Mekanism creative, media & production teams.

 

Creative Briefs and Presentations

  • Able to develop, articulate and challenge strategic and creative thinking and clearly represent agency POV
  • Write strong agency POVs based on sound rationale and previous experience to sell through a difficult concept.
  • Learn the art of planning & building strong presentations, making sure all creative is presented with a clear Mekanism POV.

 

Support Financial Organization and Performance

  • Develop an understanding of multi-million dollar scopes of work, estimates & production bids across retainer accounts.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years account experience in a creative advertising agency
  • A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations.
  • Must have video production experience with national and/or global brands. You should be able to drive the process flawlessly with grace (even under pressure).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
  • Proven ability to change direction flawlessly on a dime and adjust quickly to shifting priorities and short timelines.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A “roll up your sleeves” attitude and a sense of humor.

Salary: $110,000-$115,000
