Social Strategy Director:
We are seeking a dynamic Social Strategy Director to lead our social strategy team and elevate our clients' social presence to new heights. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social media—across owned, earned, and paid channels—and will hold the agency and brand teams to the highest creative and strategic standards. This role requires a visionary who can see the big picture while pushing for excellence in day-to-day deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative and Strategic Leadership:
- Uphold A+ creative and strategic standards across all projects.
- Enhance ideas and ensure the delivery of outstanding social work that aligns with client objectives.
- Identify and present strategic opportunities to upsell clients and grow their channels.
- Oversight and Team Management:
- Oversee and guide the office team through regular 1:1s, performance management, and constructive feedback.
- Cultivate a collaborative team environment, fostering growth and improvement across the organization.
- Mentor and support team members, promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
- Client Engagement and Presentations:
- Support pitches and key presentations from conception to execution, ensuring strategies and creative outputs meet the highest standards.
- Build strong, credible relationships with senior executives and clients, articulating strategic vision and insights effectively.
- Quality Control and Execution:
- Discern high-quality work from subpar submissions; provide actionable feedback to writers and designers to ensure excellence.
- Maintain an overarching view of projects, ensuring alignment with client goals while pushing for innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in social media strategy, with a focus on agency work.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, creative social campaigns.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong ability to mentor and motivate team members.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead pitches independently.
- Deep understanding of the social media landscape and current trends.
Salary: $140,000
